Estelle and Grgich Hills are proud to present the newest culinary journey in downtown Jackson with Estelle Wine Bar & Bistro's Wine Dinner Series! Join us for a full evening of food and wine sure to satiate the palette. A 5-course tasting, created by Executive Chef Kajdan, will be paired with a curated wine list from Grgich Hills Estate.

 

GATHERING: Smoked salmon | Fresh melon-prosciutto | Pairing: Sangria

FIRST COURSE:

Asparagus Salad | asparagus / prosciutto / goat’s milk cheese lemon / radish

Pairing: 2014-Fume Blanc | tropical fruit, lemongrass and a touch of minerality at the end of long finish

SECOND COURSE:

Cioppino | clams / mussels / gulf shrimp / spicy sausage / pappardelle / saffron

Pairing: 2014-Chardonnay | crisp, yet rich with ripe pear, toasted almonds & a note of minerality

THIRD COURSE:

Lamb merguez | spaetzle / collard greens / fried shallots

Pairing: 2012-Zinfandel | flavors of strawberry and raspberries with intense concentration

FOURTH COURSE:

Porchetta | home Place Pastures pork loin & belly / polenta / braised kale / potlikker

Pairing: 2014-Cabernet Sauvignon | rich flavors of black currants, fruit, clove & mocha, topped of by licorice with long finish

FIFTH COURSE:

Meyer Lemon Cake | extra virgin olive oil / mascarpone ice cream ginger snap crumbles

Pairing: Latest Harvest-Violetta | Indicative blend of Sauvignon Blanc & Riesling with Gewurztraminer

This limited seating dinner is available to guests for $99 plus tax & gratuity. A $50 deposit is required to secure the reservation and will be credited to the final check following the event.
